A lot of mylotters work from home. Are you able to earn enough to pay the internet bill atleast. From what I have been earning till now here in India I would not have been able to pay my internet bill if I had a computer at home. Just now I log on to mylot only from the Office. But I manage to spend a few hours online everyday. What about you??

i also spend some time online at mylot and other sites. i think it is possible to do more on the internet but it all requires the correct support and direction. some months back i thought that all sites are scam until i reached my first site that paid. its all about getting a guiding friend online who could give the right direction. Same here Mayka. I am also mylotting from office but I plan to get an internet at home coz I miss mylot terribly on weekends and holidays. However, I would have to pay for that from my own pocket. Even I don't know of any online sites in India that has good and steady payment. Even mylot is an American site and to get money from them thru paypal, you would have to verify and then request for transfer and many other hassles and they don't accept all Indian banks, either. In this age of IT progress and specially when India is not lagging behind, I so wish there were more online earning opportunities in India. [sudiptacallingu]
I was at one time planning to buy a computer at home and try to earn from home.That was before I got a job. But I realized that there are hardly any opportunities to earn from home. Now I use the internet only from office because I get to use the net for a couple of hours everyday. I have four times got my payment from mylot to my paypal account. Two payments have also come from another site. Getting payment from paypal to an Indian account was not at all a problem for me. We need to verify our account mainly when we want to use the paypal account for purchasing anything online and have to transfer money from our bank into paypal. For receiving money I have not verified my paypal account and have twice transferred money from paypal into my savings account. I have not used my credit card account for this purpose. Paypal takes Rs 50 for every transaction of transferring money into our bank account. [mayka123]
Those who earn from their homes, can aptly reply to this discussion. I am also of the opinion that if will be even difficult to foot the bill of internet, only through mylot earnings. I think, the one who works on-line from his/her home, does log in to some other sites, which give him quick earnings, like Paid to Click sites. I see a lot of posts here on mylot of people claiming to have made a lot of money from a particular site. If their claims are true I should have got atleast one positive reply here. I sometimes manage to be online for 5-6 hours in a day. But I dont think I would be able to make even a thousand rupees on the net forget about earning to manage the house. [mayka123]
Hi dear, As you know that I am not working from home. But once I tried to quit my job and work from home so that I can look after my kids well. But I could not find a tangible site so I gave up that idea. If I can earn a handsome amount then only it can meet the expenses like internet and electricity. I think it is very difficult to find a good site which can provide a good income by meeting all these expenses and then make a profit also. Let us wait, if anybody can give a positive reply. There are very few PTC sites that actually pay. I have heard from a lot of people that they were never paid from the PTC sites.I sold some Star Wars Action Figures and made a lot of money so much it would be rude to even say it here. I do not think we can actually earn enough from PTC, PTR sites ans such forums as mylot, unless you are working from home on contractual basis. I can hardly earn 10$ and that's meager! For me, if I will sum up all my online earnings for the month fro different websites It will be enough to my my internet bills for the month but my hubby is good, he is not letting me use my earnings to pay any bills we have at home. he paid it all. I am not working outside home so my earnings solely depends on my online earnings. Not much every month but I have enough to buy what I want. I cannot make enough working from home on the computer to pay my monthly bills. I worked for years outside the home. Since he has dead now my selling Michael Jackson Memorabilia could bring in a grip on money. I have not found anything on the internet that will pay me as well. I am still searching and learning about more pay sites, so far it is not going too good. It's hard but with some work you might pay the internet bill, i'm now earning just only a few bucks but i expect that in a short time i will make more, atleast i'm trying. I only wish I was able to earn enough working from home in able to stay at home. I have heard of people working online and making decent money, I just wish I could find someone that I knew personally who worked at home and was/is successful and someone that I knew I could trust to tell me all the "fine print" of what it is that they do and how much to honestly expect to make. When I had my other job and was earning $200.00, a second job earning $50.00, and casual sites like myLot to earn pocket money, I was quite happy with my level of earnings. Now, I only have casual pocket money sites like here. Trust me if I could make all my money from setting at home online I would be so happy I would be in the street with marching band instruments . In terms of the earnings to pay for at least the internet bill, that is possible. I am earning just enough to pay my electric and internet bill. One of the program I am proposing is now on it's final stages and I am now accepting interested individuals who can be my business partners. It is only limited to only six slots as of today. In just less than one year I have earned enough from my internet activities to pay for my laptop, my internet usage and my electricity. Normally I am on the internet 3-4 hours a day trying to make money online. Lately I have been spending most of the day here, I am on short term disability. I have been earning enough to at least pay my internet bill and a little more. I make any where from $100-$200 a month. I am hoping that in 2009 I will increase or double that. I don't think making online money is not very difficult. At the same time, it is not easy. It needs some tricks. Last year I could make nearly $300 online. Of which 6 months I was away from my PC (When I came back I made $25 in the last week of Dec. 2008) Average = 300 / 6 months = $50 per month, which is very much enough to pay the internet bills. hi friend, thanks for starting this discussion....i want to see the responses...as a homemaker,i do work from home...at present i just work on the following sights for the past two months....www.ammas.com,www.helium.com,www.mylot.com...i have time to work on only this three sites at present...in helium,the minimum payout is $25.i dont reach it yet...and in ammas, i need to trade my $AA in to US$.so for that also i did not get my pay yet...and in mylot i didnot reach my minimum payout so far...this is my position at present...but i can not go out and work now since i have a tiny baby... I have some so this is the only way to earn atleast minimum amount of money from home.so i prefer to do online jobs from home according to the present situation... i have 24 hours internet connection at home ....so that is not a problem according to me...but many mylotters feel like earning money from mylot as well as other sites are very hard...and it needs very hard work and most of our time to earn to minimum amount....it will be happy to get paid well ...but it happens like that only....happy mylotting.... There have been a lot of discussions here where mylotters have claimed to have received a reasonable amount from a particular site. But I think that claim is just for getting referrals. You know Mayka it's the same for me. Online earning opportunities in India are not yet developed to their full potential. Me too working at office and earning peanuts on the internet…I mylot mainly for the fun of it, otherwise ten dollars will be like five hundred rupees which would hardly get me anything worthwhile. And then there's the big problem of actually getting the cash in your bank….paypal does not support most Indian banks and even the banks it does, you have to have credit or debit card and I have neither. So the money is just there, I have bough a few things on the net just to pamper myself and that's it. Arts And Crafts is a great way to make money from home just buy the stuff make them and sell.Maybe when I am older and wouldn't be able to work anymore, we would have more earning options thru the net, here in India. Maybe I'll sell Photo Albums, Books and Frames on the street to make some extra money. I have an account with Indian Bank and am able to transfer the paypal amount into my bank without any credit or debit card. We only have to give a four digit code to paypal that is on our cheque book. We do not need a card for that. Paypal is able to transfer the money to most nationalised Indian banks. I have ventured into this online money making in Jan'09 and till date i have earned only $16.00.So this amount you can well imagine is not sufficient to pay off my internet bill plus the electricity which i am using for my computer.Luckily i have access to internet from my office and i log on to mylot during my office hours.
