One time in my office hour. I feel sleepy. I'm answering the phone while my eyes is closed. And about the logging part. I open just one eye to see the letter in the keyboard. And give the client the reference number or trouble ticket. And have a quick nap again.

hi kent, well your not the only one, i too had a few incident where i fell asleep in the office, i almost got me into trouble actually, so i ended up forcing myself to drink coffee and put few tid bits on my work area to help me stay awake. [mesuaky]
yeah it do happen sometimes, Most specially when we are bored with our work and nothing to work at all. lol In my situation i am working in a graveyard shift so its really hard for me to sleep in the morning so at night i feel very much sleepy.sleep [jersey86]
I could not afford to go sleepy in my office as I was dealing with cash. We had to be all the time careful with our cash. Responsibility and fear of loosing made me awake all the time. [Buchi_bulla]

the answer is yes, for the following reasons first, the work always is the same and ugly.second everyone here is just do their own job nothitng to communicate with others so i hate the job rignt now! [wxb12345]

ha..ha..quite interesting..I have felt mentally tired when I'm working at my office..But I have never fallen asleep as you have said..It becomes uncontrollable when you are overly tired..You may feel sleepy as you work..I have not faced such a situation as my work needs full concentration..Even a slight disturbance or divertion may create errors..So if I feel tired, I just move away from my desk and have a walk..or a small chat with my friends to refresh myself.. Hello there!I often feel sleepy especially after lunch. I really do not spend much time in front of the computer. I practically spend most of my working time in the classroom delivering my lectures. My free time is devoted to checking papers or simply having my lunch or snacks. It is during my lunch break and a couple of hours after that that I really feel sleepy. [dolce_vita78]
When I worked in an office I would feel sleepy all the time. It happens when you're doing something that is boring and doesn't report you any joy at all -I mean, in my ex-job-. Also having to wake up really early doesn't help, so my eyes would close all the time. [madteaparty]
I used to feel extremely sleepy after lunch and not in the morning. Usually, when I would have a nice heavy lunch and come back to the boutique, I would be very sleepy. Luckily, I was sitting in the back office and they couldn't notice me much. I would just close the door and sleep for a good time and freshen up. [cobradene]
Hi Kent, It happens some times if we are bored with our work or else if we have no work at all to do i feel very sleepy, and also if we have tight schedules sometimes if we feel sleepy for me it happens so i take a quick nap for about 10 min, so after that i relaxed and i will be back to work. Yes , when I do not have a complete sleep I am sleepy. I sleep for an hour when it is 12pm already and I just wake up at 1pm. That is the only allowable time for me to take a nap or sleep since that is the time for break time. The bosses are not strict if their employee will be sleeping for an hour , but as soon as we wake up we will not having our break again because we already use it. I can re energize when I sleep, but I still feel sleepy when I woke up and I want to sleep again. [grecychunny26]
In my prior life I worked in nursing and I worked the night shift. This was actually quite difficult for me because I also had a very small child at home so I wasn't able to sleep for more than just a couple of hours a couple of times throughout the day. During the night in a hospital it can occasionally be very eventful and busy, but for the most part it is very slow and there is nothing going on. I remember more than once that my head hit the desk in the nursing station. [dorannmwin]
I have experienced this a couple of times. I would doze on and off during my work and I would just try to recover. Its really hard when your sleepy and you have to do some work. Most of us really work early in the morning and then end work a little late at night so, being sleepy is really inevitable. (-_-") [ratyz5]
If i had imcomplete sleep or if my proper sleep was not attained the other day, it would reflect in the office hours.To what extent it would affect, depends on the quality of sleep.Again, if i am sick or if i had heavy lunch then i would sleepy.Usually t happens if i goto a party lunch, otherwise i keep myself to light lunch.You need to be alert in office hours and also need to spend quality time there.Thanks!
