In same cases there are some kind of work that give you the possibility to move and so have some business travel to manage some affairs out of your office..so do you like them or do you prefer a job which it won't be enabled possibilities like that?and why?
If you have a family and you know your work will ask to have some business travels during the year do you consider that positevely or negative aspect?
which one do you prefer business travel in the local lands or international ones?

I would love to have job where I could travel a little. I wouldn't like to travel all the time, but to be able to travel some would be fun. It would give me experiences I haven't had before! [amybrezik]
yes i think it is right!!unluckly there are not so much jobs that give e tou this possibility or better i think the majority wouldn't give you but in same cases it would be interesting and nice experiences you can have too! [tonyllenium]
While it seems like it would be a very glamours thing to do, it does get old and fast. I have spent more time in airports, waiting in line at hotels, and waiting for taxis than I care to admit and I traveled first class. It is fun at first, and exciting, but eating out gets old, staying in different hotels gets old There was a time that I traveled a great deal of time, I would be gone more than I was home. I was in fact gone most of Feb then again in April, June, August and November. For example in Feb I would go to New York for a week, return home to Chicago for two days, then off to Dallas for five days, leave from there and go to Vegas for nine days, leave there and go to California for five days. then back home again. it was great when I was single and well is one of the reasons I no longer work [meandmy3]
I am only 22 and at this time I would like a job where I could travel because I don't have any commitment to anyone or a family or anything. So it would give me a chance to see new things and learn new business affairs as well. I don't think I could do business travel if I had a family because I don't think it would be fair to them. I would only do it like if I was getting paid very very very well. [Flirtykumquat]
it think your personal condition will be much better deals with this kind of purposes!! Normally young and single people like jobs like that and even they can have much good experienced and improve their work level as well... surely if you will have a family it will be sometimes boring for you and family because needs and priority changes towards that one of your family as well!! [tonyllenium]
I like to travel. Especially outside of my country. If given a chance to travel by my company then that will be a nice opportunity for me. As long as I don't work there too long then I think it will be fine. I have a son and a family but spending for a week outside my country will not be too much. But if this will happen for many times in a year like more than ten times then I think I will have to reconsider some of the trips. [marymarj2002]
I am not sure if I would like that or not. I more than likely would not because I do not like to travel that much and I do not want to be away from my family either. It is not very safe anymore either. [stephcjh]
Right now, I don't have any strings attached to any one. So, I have all the freedom to travel anywhere locally or international. I prefer international travel from my company because its quite hard enough for me to visit those places without company's expense. Unlike local travel, I can manage using my own savings. But for instance that I already have my family and it came to a point that my company will assign me to their outside plant or office, I would take it positively if it will give me at least additional compensation and other relocation packages. When, I'm already stable in the new assigned place, then I will get my whole family and have relocated as well. [rsanders26]
I love jobs which require both travel and office time. I like a balance. My present job requires that I do some amount of travling locally. An additional overseas travel every now and again would be most welcomed.lol [tjades]
I love to travel so I would love to have a job that allows me to do that from time to time. [angemac23]
I love a job which gives business travels. It may be short terms also.It is what i really want. I am in IT and its very common here to get assignments where you are traveling abroad for job for few times. Its more than 4.5 years and I am into IT. I am so unlucky that I never get any chance to travel on job. I am frustrated for it.Now i need a project as I am released from the one I was into. I am not finding any one.The manager who is responsible to find one, is doing nothing at all. [subha12]
Yes I am for sometime because I did not yet experienced it. I would like it if all finances and fares covered by the office. But hard to left the family but if it needs I will. I would go international because I wnat to go somewhere else and so nice to visit other countries. It cannot be avoided that it really missed so much if you are far from your love ones. [geniustiger]
Hi friend.wub I used to travel a lot in my previous job and I liked that kind of work. I have seen many places and met many kinds of people during that time. Traveling gives us time to think and to know more about others. It is an experience that can not be matched by staying in the office the whole day. I would be fine with it as long as a nut case did not come in with a AirSoft Guns at new place. Good day. [WATARIKENJI]
i choose in local.. it not easy way to move on each time your boss ask you. as married guys, you must consider many thing.. [unicorn4154]
I would prefer a job that allows me to travel different places, international travel would be even better than local travel as it allows me to see new places and meet new people and that will save me from the boring job of going to the same place year after year.. [aslesh_t]
Hi tonyllenium... My current job actually gives that option and I try to grab the opportunity to travel whenever possible. I love travelling and have been to the farthest corners of my country because of my job. Come to think of it, that was one of the questions they asked me when I first applied. I gave them a yes definitely. Teehee. I mean you get to do your job plus you get to travel for free. happy [rosedust82]
I have a job that gives me the chance to travel abroad. Thanks to my job I was in the US for 2 whole years. It was a blast! I worked hard and partied harder. But coming back to my country was tough and I had to put up a fight. This is because, once you have established good relations with your clients, they and your own company does not want you to go back. When you sell Air Nail Guns for a living it does not really matter where you work at. But I fought and got home. :) So I would have to say, travelling for business, once in a while is fun. But there should be flexibility. Family is the most important thing for me in life. Nothing else comes first. God bless! :) [cbeee3]
hi..... if you ask me to get up in middle of night and say that you are offering me a job which need a lot of traveling i would never give a second thought and say yes for that job........i love to travel to different places.......it can be any thing for business or leisure.....i just love to travel.....in fact traveling is my hobby.....but some time due to lack of funds i have to drop my plans.....but ya if my job gives me a possibility to travel to different places then why not....for me it would be the best job in the world......but at present i m traveling to different places in search of job !!!!!!! [deepzholic]
just last month i was hired as a bookkeeper in an appliance store, but i need to be assigned first for 2weeks in a far a away location, like 12hours from home. but my mom wont permit me so i declined the offer.. she is just worried about my security thats why.. she added, sometimes we should also think of ourselves rather than just grabbing some sort of jobs and be relocated from another place w/o knowing what lies ahead. [kling2388]
Yes I would really like that. For all these years at the workplace I have worked in 4 companies now for the past 5 years or so.Though I did sense some opportunities earlier that promised travel I didn't pursue those chances very aggressively. I sell Airbrush Compressors so we are all over the place anyways. But now I feel that it is time for me to experience some travel as well. And I am joining a new firm in a week.I believe that I would get the opporunity to travel as part of my job here. That wold be fun as well as a good learning experience.Though I have a family I do have their support as well and they would be only happy if such a chance crops up. [nikhil_sun]
I think I wouldn't mind to take the job that has the opportunity to travel as long as it is not a permanent stay at a different country, if thre are conferences or something like that once or twice a month is fine. I think it is good though because we can have this chance to put in effort at work and see more in the world. Besides that, it is free :-p [mermaidivy]
I would prefer jobs that would give me the possibility to travel.Partly because I love to travel around and traveling is very interesting as I would discover more about other people's culture and their way of living.I am a nature person and I just love visiting new places of nature and take photos of it as photography is my hobby.Being able to travel and work will be a great advantage to me and it would be good as it reduces the stress level while working. [maikarumike]
Yeah, that would be good because I like traveling a lot. I like traveling internationally. To see new places. I might like this but it would be a matter of where I was going I wonder if they could give my a Adjustable Beds then I would be sold. I think my family will understand.lol [reckon21]
eheheh!!it sounds your family very comprehensible towards that!!In fact many people who have family don't like it because in many cases their family like mor eyou will turn back home daily and not in some airport around the world..lol [tonyllenium]
My greatest achievement in life was travelling for free in various known cities in the Philippines. I have achieved it because I joined in the Supreme Student Government wherein I run as a Representative of our course, the BSStatistics. Actually one of the major reason why I joined in that polical activities, is to travel in Philippines for free. It has been the sole passport of every student to go to Baguio, Davao, Tagaytay and the rest of the country without thinking of your financial obligations, because you will be given budget by the university. I would do it in a heartbeat in hopes that the new place has some Air Purifiers But I think it was just a reward for all student leaders in order for us to work hard and to serve our fellow students. Again, we travelled for free... [aabuda]
of course yes. i am a singer and i travelled already in some few countries at asia becuase of work. it is a tour with pay. lol. it was a great opportunity to travvel and to work at the same time. you can see sites that are cool but still get a chance to work and get payed. to also know few people that you can be friends with. its fun to travel but it more fun to work while travelling for you get the best of both worlds [roniroxas]
i sing a little of everything from the 50's up to the present. my last travel was four years ago and now i only sing weekends and special events. as of now i am spending more time with my nephew who is turnig 9 months old. when my sister get her son then i will find a work abroad again. [roniroxas]
i like traveling,so if if my job give me possibility to travel i would like to do it,with traveling i can find some new milleau, and we can meet so many kind ne thing that we do not ever met before.i prefer like bussiness travel in the international.but if i already have a family but my job ask to have some business travel during the year, maybe i will denied it cause i think it will consider negative aspect, i can give some attention to my family.and i can't keep them save and mybe it is not go for my relationship with my wife. [pansy45]
When I was single I was eager to travel for business. But I didn't got any opportunity. My work needn't go out. Now I've had my family. I don't want to travel any more. But I'm changing my job and my new job has a lot of possibility of travelling. Maybe it's just life. What I can do is only accepting it. [xingxingsky]
Not anymore, tonyllenium; I use to travel a lot but am very happy to be living a stationary life. Moving constantly is rough on the body. thumbdown [roberten]
I would like a job in which I could travel. If there was too much traveling involved that would not be good either though. Yes and I would use Airbrushes to paint the place I have worked. When one travels for business, you usually are not permitted to take your significant other, the person you want to share these places with, with you. Also people who travel for business rarely get to go see the sites and take in the city before they are back on a plane bound for some where else. [sharone74]
I have never had a job where I had the chance to travel a lot, but I would love to work somewhere where international business travels was a part of the job. Some years ago I was working as a kind of nurse, and I spent a lot of time on transportation, because it was my job to visit patients in their homes. I had a few visits in the countryside, but aside from that I was only working in my local area, and it could have been interesting to travel a bit more. A job with a lot of travels would definately appeal to me. [Porcospino]
Because I am single, I wouldn't find it very hard to leave the country for work compared to those who have families already. :) since I am in the stage of knowing myself and exploring possibilities of growth, I would love to travel for work! But I don't really see myself working in other countries forever, probably a few months would do. [JamieRose]
I think i would welcome such opportunity... especially if i can take my daughter with me in some of that travels... not all the time... but like in two or three... like mixing business with family bonding... there are negative aspects... but i would always consider the positive ones... since i love to travel to different places... [aseretdd]
I'm not the kind of person who likes to be too far from home, so a job where I would have to be travelling all the time wouldn't suit me at all. My family is too important for me to be travelling all the time and missing out on being with them and seeing them grow up. We play on the Air Hockey Tables at work so I would not want to be too far away from that. My dad travels all the time with his work. He always has done. It has meant, especially when my sisters and I were younger, that my mum has basically been a single mum. He would travel about 2 weeks out of every 4, and when he wasn't travelling, he was just never around for his family, even if he was at home. He still travels 20 years on, and while us kids are grown up now, it is still hard on my mum sometimes as she wants to enjoy being a couple but has to accept that his work comes before anything, or anyone else. [newzealtralian]
Nopse.. It's not like that.. I am working here from past 1.5 years and will be working here for 3 more years,,, [nitin13techie]
