Do You Like Your Job

I just started a new job. It is steady and i can do it anytime i like. I can accept any work or refuse any. Its mystery shopping. I LOVE IT!!. I get paid to eat, bank, bowl, drink, and many other things. Best of all it is my own hours. So I don't have to go to work at 9 am if I don't feel like it. The hardest part is paper work. But hey if I can do discussions here. I can do paperwork. Oh and you need a good memory. Do you work? Do you like your job? What do you do? Do you wish you had another job? If you don't work,, do you like not working and why or why not??

Oh I don't have a job right now but I am going to start watching a baby starting Monday she is 1 and a half years old my daughter was watching her and just moved out the other day and thought that I could take over and she has gotten so tired and besides she is pregnant so I am helping her out. Sounds like the mystery shopping is fun. I am glad that you love it. [aprilgrl]
I used to watch kids. I didn't mind it. Especially babies. I love to teach so I had fun. I guess the key word for me is fun lol [mssnow]

I did love my work but the last few weeks I've been getting a little frustrated and concerned - I may have to go back to the set work hours again and I'm not looking forward to that but I need a steady income. I wanna marry a rich terrific man who can support me so I can spend my time writing what I want to write not what I have to in order to pay bills. [byfaithonly]
LOL that works I'll run to the store right now :) [byfaithonly]

I love my job; wouldn't trade it for anything in this world;)I have my own office and can wear whatever I want to work..;)+ [littlefranciscan]

As you know my friend I am not currently working, but it's certainly not through trying, I've had endless rejections and knockbacks. I have spent the last three studying childcare, I have all the right qualifications, the enthusiasm, willing to learn, but what is the problem? No experience, it's a vicious circle, plus being diagnozed with depression doesn't help! Good luck with your job and here's to lots of earnings ;0) [wolfie34]

I wouldnt say that I love my job but I do like it better than any job that I've had in the past. I've worked for some real jerks over the years and when I started at this company about 12 years ago I thought I've finaly found a place I can work for and feel I belong. About 2 1/2 years ago when my wife started getting arthritus I decided that maybe I should try to get into a leadership position so she wouldnt have to work so much any more. Now all of a sudden I'm the production manager for swing shift and working anywhere between 50 and 60 hours a week. The pay is better more than I've ever made but I sure dont get to spend alot of time at home during the week anymore. I still like my job though. Take care, Terry [twils2]

I'm also a Mystery Shopper. Even i love to do that and i do apply for ll the assignments in my city. But that doesn't pay enough. So i think one can't take it as full time job. I do it only as a part-time job. Aned my rating never fell below 8/10 [sandeep_t]

I think I'm starting to like my work now, before I thought I'll get stagnant doing the same thing all over again but now that I see the real essense of my work I can say I find my self liking it though i never forget my dreams and I still want to pursue it [ice_vb]

oh don;t get me started on this! I have a really bad job history. i've had jobs i loved that i was so bad at i was sacked. i've had jobs that i hated to the point it made me ill that i was really good at. I've not yet found anything that i can do well enough to not get sacked and i enjoy enough not to make myself ill about having to go to work I have a degree so every job i apply for say overqualified. and the jobs that my degree seems to point to are management BS where i would last a week. I have a chronic mental health issue where i have to be careful about stress. I had to move back to my parents when the last job went pear-shaped so i now live in a small town so theres not many openings here and even fwer would be right for me. i'm happy to move if someone would ofer me somthing! I ahve don mystery shopping but like i say...small town! i got one assignment a month. it was always the same one and i always felt it was getting a bit obvious after that. I did that for 4 months but they never paid me so i stopped that. i did get paid for one by another company but only the one At the moment all i can get is 12 hours a week at less than minumum wage writing porn which is ok but nor something i can put on my CV so it does look like i've been doing nothing for 14 months! You do really have a heavenly job. Get paid to eat, bank, bowl and drink. Practically all expenses are paid for, and what you earned is 100% savings. How nice if I have a job that pays me a salary as well as my meals and I only need to work at my own hours. That is simply ideal. [whyaskq]

Infact i am more pleased with my job although am a student but i do work a am so happy because i dont hv any problem in my place of work and also i do collect a good salary at the end of the month with some bonnus. my working place do give us benefits like i catton of milk per month, soaps, bathing soaps and so on. and also when i started working their i recieve prommotion different times. so i thank God. [kennycaxton2006]

Oh I love my job...finally working at home doing what I love...medical transcription... [tomatoe39]

you are one lucky person to have a job like that. Unlike me, i've been working as a tech support for more than 2 years now. I have to stay in the office for at least 9 hours and my customers can really drive me nuts sometimes. Customer service was my dream job until I had it. I thought it was easy. But anyway, i should still be thankful rather than not having any job at all :-) [tetalukaretz]

Hello princess. I am so happy for you. I hope this is improving your $$$ situation. Is the company you are using offering you enough assignments? [lordwarwizard]

I work, and i work hard some times, but I can say that i realy like my job. I work in the arhitecture business, and sincerly i don't wan't another job but maybe a part-time job to go along with my day job. I would not not quit this job because it pays very well and I realy like what I am doing. [Alin23gh]

Wow, that sounds like a leisurely job. I've often seen vacancies for that sort of stuff but I tend to ignore them. Erm, I'm currently working as an Estate Agent, part time, whilst I study, and I really like that. I don't need to take the work home with me and I have little responsibility so at this stage, that suits me just fine. But once I graduate, I'm going to be a lawyer, so I'm really looking forward to that. For now though I have the freedom to try out new business ideas and make money working for myself. And I'm loving that too. [dazeylaze]

I work part time and i do enjoy what i do! I buy used cars, running or not! I use what i've learned to repair some vehicles, some are only good for parts. Take care Mssnow. [budsr03]

I am glad the mystery shopping is working out well for you sweet snow! I love my job (I work in a bar!) but I am getting so frustrated cos I have been off for about 5 weeks at the moment and am likely to be off for another month at least! I would love to train as a teacher but I am afraid I cannot afford to do this at the moment but maybe one day! xxx [mummymo]

I will be honest, I don't like my job. but it's one of the easiest jobs there is; Sorting laundry to be finished and shipped. The pay is not the greatest, but they have good benefits. I have been daydreaming lately about a new job and I'm working on making that a serious reality. The reason I don't like it is that for one, politics can get in here, then little gossipy stuff gets put in and when it's a bunch of women, stuff can get hairy. Now as far as working, I am a person who will get her butt off the bed and GO to work, whether I want to or not. Perhaps that is the military person in me; I have thought about calling off but don't want the hassle.Last time I did was because my father had died and had to go with my mom and brother to make the arrangements for the funeral; They were very nice and gave me vacation and bereavement leave. And those who know me, know that isn't me either, but there it is in a nutshell for me. [Savvynlady]

I have a couple of jobs and I generally like them. My first job is teaching. I have a full-time teaching position and a part-time teaching position that I do one night a week. I also do a few mystery shops when they are available in my area and fit in with my schedule. [bam001]
