Do you ever jump on the internet in the morning before work, "Just to check your email" ... then you are distracted and go to other sites, and, before you know it, you are running a little late for work? This happens to me once in awhile.
I would like to stay and chat a lot more rather than get ready for work and leave, but I have to cut this short, or I will be late! Gotta go!!!! sad

I have done this quite a few times. I usually get up at 5 a.m. so that I have time to get ready for work and then check mylot and see what is going on here and respond to a couple of discussions as it seems that is all the time that I have. However, if there are a lot of interesting ones then I find that I am busy responding and almost forget to go to work. I wish this site paid enough that I could stay home and do it all the time. I am glad to know that I am not the only one who does this. [carolscash]
I feel the same! If it paid about $10 an hour at least, it would be almost as much as I make at work. Would be MUCH nicer to stay at home and type away all day. : / (I just got out of the shower, now I am REALLY out the door!) lol [Bethany1202]

It happened to me quite often. The first thing I would do after getting up is to turn on the computer, which takes a couple of minutes to show up the front page. Meanwhile I would do the personal cleaning. The first thing is to check the mylot score and now the tasks. I meant to have a try out for the task I accept, but before I realize, half an hour has passed. I missed the daily morning walking hour. [zhuhuifen46]
i have this bad habit for years.everytime i am late for work,and accused by boss,i regret.but i try my best to change this,and keep the time in mind,and i c myself is changing day by day haha [rookiekan]
I most certainly do have this problem from time to time. Though.... I only work part time, but I stil get distracted enough sometimes in the mornings too. I want to see what bills came in ect and before ya know it I have to hurry up and get the kids ready to go to school. Don't want to be late or tardy ya know... [3SnuggleBunnies]

Well being that I am not working right now, I jump on the internet first thing in the morning, all the time and answer five discussions here, then I log off and take my shower, then I get back on my computer, and this is where I am for the rest of the day answering discussion here at Mylot, I don't visit other sites because I want to make my numbers go up, in here I want to answer 80 discussions a day.happy [notlistening2]

no I never did when I was working or going to school, i found that it was a distraction and I didn't want to get used to the internet and make it a habit. No that I am no longer working I am usually on it all day. [winterose]

It happens to me whenever im doing homework and its so annoying! i usually spend like 4 hours each day but half of it is goofing off! i think i should have taken more extracurricular activities so i have some recreation thats useful for applying to college. [pleasedontask]
this happens to me before. on MWFs, i have early classes but even though i am like 15 minutes late, i always check my mail and whenever something interesting comes, i am glued in my seat and forgot about the time. lol. then realized later that io have already missed my first class. it's funny when i think about it now. LOL, oh yeah, I can so see that happening... I have the luxury of working from home and being a full time mom, but there are mornings when I have to get my son to school and i jump online just to see what is in my email...and start to check another site regarding earnings....and have to rush because of the extra time it took me to check things out....LOL happy mylotting!! Oh yes. i do it every morning, like i am doing it now.Becausewhenever i get up i just hop on my be, dont even go for brushing and just start mylotting or doing other important work of mine here.and in that i go so late for other work of mine that make me either cancle them or then run for it with heart in my mouth, lol. and this happens always even when i know that i will be late i still sit here, just convincing my self that a little bit more time please... ;) [Archie0]
