What i am now with this much English,that credit must go to my boss,when i have worked under him for 33 months his name is Mr RAMA CHENNA REDDY,in his tenure i have written so many letter to the head office,by writing and writing i have improved this much English their itself,he does not allow us to stay in the office after hours if the scheduled work is over,he saying that why you are here after the work was over go and enjoy at your home,i never see that type of boss in my regime,happy mylotting

Hi friends, too .... If I am, I'd still be in office after office hours completed. That's because I work in the branch office. In this work the highest office in shaken by my supervisor. Hi yugasini Most bosses are like that, he was powerful and did not want to understand us. fortunately well my boss was always against me, if working hours are finished I allowedto go home, even before the clock had finished work I was invited back with my boss. bay the way, what you are given extra money to your jobs after office hours? i usually do...but that is only because my mom picks me up at work and she is usually late. My boss do caught me still typing some unfinished reports beyond office hours while waiting for her. he doesnt mind. he actually encourage me to file for overtime since im there anyway. i sometimes refuse but he insists... nice! anyway, if he were to decide, he likes me to go home as soon as the office hours are over.... he just wants us to enjoy our home alone time :) [lrglara]

I would like a boss like that. LOL. My boss now does not require us to work overtime, but sometimes, I get shy about it, cause they always stay late in the office. hehehe. WIth my past work, I was required to stay at the office until it's late.. If I'm going home in time, my boss would ask me why,, and he won't let me go home.. good thing I left that job already ... hahaha. lol [Ingkingderders]

A big namaskarams to your boss. Very rare to see such bosses. Usually people tend to extract as much work as possible from their subordinates. My husband also never allowed anybody to stay in the office after work especially ladies. Only some men whose work is to be attended to for some more time, were expected to stay, finish the work and go home. [Buchi_bulla]

yugasini, I have. Back then I depended on my husband for transportation. His working hours are slightly later than mine. So everyday, I have to stay back in the office while waiting for him to come and fetch me. I dont mind though as I got to browse somemore and do my own thing. These days, I am no longer working. :) [submerryn]

I usually don't stay at office once the work is over. But, yes, sometimes I do. Can you guess why? I can access free internet in office and I like to do mylotting here. Somtimes, I may be taking the time of my work for mylotting. So, I need to stay back to compensate for the effort I put for mylotting. I developed a lot in English after started continuously writing in Mylot. [daliaj]

It is great that your boss wants you to go home and relax after the work hours are done. In my experience most of my bosses were workaholics that didn't know when to relax. He sounds like an excellent boss to me. If only more bosses adopted this attitude, they would probably see a major increase in office production just because people are more willing to work hard for a boss that shows he cars vs one that is a bosshole. That's a nice and cool boss you got there and that's how all the chefs should be! Working extra after work only makes you tired and most likely will keep you at home the next week because you will probably call and say you are sick just to stay at home. Exhausted by the job does not improve the work that is done, in fact it will be worse. [tixepower]
