Don't they know I got to get my damn website off the ground!!!! I mean does anyone else work here????angry. Have you ever felt like you are the only one working? I too am at work right now. I answer calls all day long and some days there are not that many calls to answer so I am on myLot. I hate my paycheque because it's not big enough, lol. I am actually looking into starting an online business as well. Hope to have it up and running next week, and I hope to god it pays decent so I can quit where I am working now. =) [Daphers]
Don't get me wrong, I do love my job. I love what I do and I love the people I work with. however, sometimes it seems like i am the only one doing anything. My paycheck is nice but we can always use some more money. I just want to make enough money so i can work because i want to not because i have too [34momma]

Yes...yes and yes!! I'm at work, too, and I'm the go to person for anything that has to do with everyone's computers along with my regular responsibilities and the extra junk that gets tossed my way because they know that I can do it. Then I watch just about everyone else goofing off while my desk gets piled higher and higher! angry I would LOVE to start my own business...if I could think of something to do that I could actually earn money doing down here in Nowhere Florida. [spalladino]
yes, that is me. oh give it to her, she can do it. let her do it so we can go out for a three hour lunch and drinks. There are plenty of ways to make some extra money or a nice income from the comfort of your home. if you are willing to do what it takes to make it happen for yourself [34momma]

Well how rude of your employer, Thinking you are there to do their work. If they wanted someone to work they should employ an assistant for you. We cannot work and Mylot at the same time. I would be putting your foot down if I were you Momma. ROFL [Goodie123]
Hey Momma, thank you for best response. [Goodie123]

LOL how dare they!! I have felt like that many times when I was working and when I've been home. It would be nice to start my own business but not sure what I would do though. [maddysmommy]
I probably have a fair idea on what is involved. My husband designed a few websites for businesses in Samoa (on the side) and the hours and time he put in to getting it right was very time consuming. A lot of detail and html'ing which I don't understand at all haha. Keep it up Momma :) [maddysmommy]

I always felt like I was the only one working when I worked outside of the home also. I hated it. I didn't mind working, but when I was the only one doing it and getting drove nuts by co-workers gossiping and not doing their job, that made me mad. I quit and started my own business cleaning homes. That didn't last long or pay me very well though. I spent alot of money in gas to go back and forth to all of the homes. I just work from home on my computer now. I do not make a whole lot of money but I am so glad to have peace of mind now. [stephcjh]
oh yes, peace of mind is priceless. [34momma]

Yes, the more work you do for them the more they think you are capable of. I tried my own business once. Didn't work out so well. [nova1945]
well nova you never know, you may come up with another idea that might work for you [34momma]

I've got to send this to my husband, if he has't already seen this. It souds like precisely the kind of conersation he'd start, and precisely the kind of situation he's in right now. LOL Thanks for bringing a smile to my face. [danishcanadian]
Sounds like my freaking family...both he one I was born into, and the one I married ino. Seems all the hard work falls on the shoulders of the STABLE one!!! LOL [danishcanadian]

Yep, you gotta do that too. And when you're done, I have a business I want you to start for, a website to design, a toilet to clean and a whole list of other stuff, so stop whining and get to work! ROFL No sweets, you're not alone. Any chance you can make them all mylotters and get paid there as well as here? ROFL [sparkofinsanity]
LOL, and apparently we have cookies on the dark side, but I've yet to find them! ROFL [sparkofinsanity]

yes i know what you mean and it is very frustrating , to find you are the only person working while orhers make merry. may be tou should quit your job an dstart your own business [vidasandi]
well i am about to start my own money making website business. but i am not leaving my day job now. i got a two year plan [34momma]

yes it does suk, to feel like you are the only person working while others make merry. maybe you should qit your job and start your own business [vidasandi]
it's all good girl [34momma]

34momma hi I feelfor you but I am retired now so no more worries or feeling like I am the only one doing something. I worked as a page in my local library ane there were two kids about ninetten who felt that paging was really beneath them so they would play at shelving books then go into the clerks room and mess around trying to learn the clerks jobs instead of helping me page books ,they did not last too long before the branch manager fired them.I have thought of starting my own business but on line and most on line stuff are scams. lol [Hatley]
i am doing my best to get it done, and don't mind doing it. but damn i am not the only one that works there! [34momma]

As you know I worked for many moons. When I worked my last job I would go in earlier than everyone else and work my stock market stuff until about 8 oclock whcih is 10 at NY. That gave me plenty of time to do my transactions, buys and sells etc. Then I would do what had to be done. I was pretty lucky in that I was always in a position of being in charge of what I was doing, so the work schedule went through me. As long as everything got done in a timely manner I didn't care how busy anyone looked etc. The work got done and everyone was happy. When I retired for the second time I got me a little business on the side to have something to keep me active and busy. I make money enjoy the interaction with people and have a nice tax right off. What more can anyone ask for. However, it all started because I worked my butt off for many years. [eeyore39]
Always need good brokers or people who do their own. Might be something to think about. Just imagine doing something you really like for a change. [eeyore39]

I mylot in the morning with my morning coffee and I enjoy that immensely. At 8am I drive to my farm and do farm stuff. I have 6 people who do various things like mending the fence, boring holes for the banana seedlings that I will be planting soon, and lots of other farm stuff. I don't do any manual work but I manage everything including the nutrition of the chickens, goats, cattle. I plan to raise some tilapia and catfish too. Coming home from the farm at 3pm I go and purchase supplies before the hardware stores close. At night before I go to bed, I do a little bit of mylotting after I do my reading and other research which has relevance to my offline work. I forgot to mention that I have over a thousand websites needing attention and I have deferred work on my killer website because I just have too many things needing to be done. [underdogtoo]
that is why i focus my time on my website and my job. trying to keep my hands into to many things something always gets left behind. i don't want to do that [34momma]

My boss caught me on MyLot yesterday and we had a long discussion. If I run out of things to do, I can now leave early. Unfortunately, what is now what I have to do is completed before 10:00 A.M. I'll go broke if I leave then every day. [Vladilyich1]
That sucks, Vlad!! [danishcanadian]

That's the beauty of working for yourself. I work when I want on whatever I want and if I don't feel like any work that day..I just don't work:) I work online when I feel like it, writing articles for different sites, then I have some real admin jobs that I do online for different companies, which I can choose what I want to do when I want to do it..etc.. I teach English at the university(to the professors there) also part time once or twice a week, depends on how I feel..and sometimes, if I am a little bored, I go to the Language Course here and appear in new classes as a guest speaker.. The pay for my part time teaching is so good, I really don't need to do anything else:) [Marleysa]
i know i can't wait to finally finish this site so that i can start my two year plan. i plan on working here for another two years and then work from home only after that. depending on how well the site does. i think it's going to do really well because it's free [34momma]

I've thought about it, but I'm too lazy for that :-x 6 more months and i'll be outta this joint! I don't mind work so much as I mind the hour long drive to work. I need a closer job. [mookarenmoo]
i don't mind working either. as a matter of fact, i really do like my job. i just know i am never going to be independently wealthy working for someone else. so i need to start my own thing [34momma]

Huh? I am a little lost reading your post. You got a job and you don't want to work? I mean, you got a job to work rite. And working puts money in the pocket. Which in turns put food on the table. Any other personal project should not take priority during work hours. That is what we are paid to do. We better jolly well do it. no? [ahgong]
ha ha ha ha ha... I am sure you are not alone. I too sometimes feel that I am bogged down by one thing too many. What I usually do is to take a breather. A good cup of coffee. And maybe my favorite tunes in my handphone. Go somewhere peaceful during the coffee break, and switch off for a moment. Go into my little world for that 10 mins. It is really refreshing. Then when I get back to my desk, I will do up a to-do list. And then prioritize it according to their importance, or their dateline, which ever is earlier. Then check them off one by one as I complete the tasks. That way, your mind will not be too cluttered with stuff and thoughts on what still needs to be done. [ahgong]

You are too funny. I multi-task at work, I multi-task at home, I multi-task at church. I have to please the boss (work), the big boss (God), and the other boss (my wife) ha ha. So I try to serve at church, do my job offline, and do my online stuff. [runningman72]
LOL, trust me, i am all about multi-tasking. i mean if i didn't nothing would ever get done. so i have to work my job, work my website, work my family, work my home and still find five minutes to work me!! trust me, i know all about multi-taskngw00t [34momma]

Yeah at my work since i'm the fastest typer i'm the one that gets the most patients because everyone else is slow. Half the time I feel like i'm the only one working and it gets very annoying to me as well. There are days I leave here n I'm ready 4 a drink or just go vent to my friends. My job is very stressful but I do like it though. [Blondie2222]
oh i know i am always ready for a drink at the end of the day. my job is not stressful, but a lot of the time people act like they don't know what is going on and they make more then me. i love my job, i really do. i work with some great people, but it's on those days that i am just done and don't want to be bothered with nonsense. then i think, i have three kids, with one in college. i am so grateful that i have a job that pays well.
