For many persons its the first day of work for new year. How do you feel, excited ,relieved annoyed to be back at work.
For may persons, the feeling is excitement because they probably started to miss your beloved job.
For others they are annoyed to have to give all that fun and excitement to go back to their poring jobs.
Some persons are relieved to be back in some sort of schedule and away from all the hectic life and spending associated with the holidays.

I hate going back to work especially considering its friday. The way i see it though in a few hours i will be off and my weekend is starting. I feel like i am having back to back weekends. LOL! [jessi0887]

i hd to retire nearly 5 years go due to my health so don't have to worry about those feelings anymore. than heavens. lol they should have let everybody off today so they could have had a log weekend. would have ben the last long weekend for awhile. take care. [ANTIQUELADY]

This is my work for right now being here on Mylot, I love being here all of the time answering discussions of all of my frinds, it give me great job to see my e-mail box full of all of these discussions to answer, I just love it, I can't to log intro Mylot sometimes, and get right to work, this is the best (hobby )job one can have and it pays to.happy [notlistening2]
I don't have anything scheduled until next week so I am still just laying around. I do have to go out today and try to find a car I can afford to buy. It will soon be impossible for me to use my son-in-laws truck because he is fixin to start college and with his work schedule and class schedule he will have to have the truck at his disposal at all times. Yes today was the first working day in January but I didn't go into the office today instead I work from home. There was a deadline to meet and I thought that I would accomplish it here better from home which I did. It is now complete. Ron was reminding persons this morning that today was friday and not saturday lol. Well I am glad that the holiday is over and now we can concentrate on setting goals and trying to achieve them. Well for some it was disappointment with no bonus but I hope that these workers will understand what is happening and go out sharp and willing to work as hard as before. [kerriannc]
I do not work .It is getting back to normal for me my husbands already back at work and my son goes back to school on the sixth jan and that will come hard to me.After all that coming and going for the christmas period and all the excitement probably get more time to come on here.It is going to be strange sometimes my son drives me mad but on the whole he is great company,my grandchildren will be going back to school,so no more baby sitting during the day so my daughter can go shopping or to work or just going to the gym.Quite time again. with heavy heads - ya - back to work - but it's fun. how a person changes his thoughts due to virtual event. nothing happens - just a date changed which is automatic - everybody knows that what is next date and you (me) everybody cheerup - hey ! it's 1st Jan. human mind is prodgrammed to react in certain way at certain events. it was just a normal day for me ! nothing special ! still i enjoyed it because everybody else was so exicited. I don't have work for the moment. how ever, i know what it feels like to go back to that one week 8 hour hard work. it will take some time but you will adjust to that i am sure of it. it's better to go back to work than stay vacation for a very long time. like the situation that i am now. try to remind yourself how you like your job.have a nice day. its sort of a mix feeling, really. on the one hand i miss having a definite schedule but on the other hand, i love the carefree atmosphere of the holidays. anyway, i'm back on the regular sched again so i guess its time to be working again. :) [aying_spongebob]
Going back to work after a long holiday can be difficult. Just the thought of waking up early, get ready for work and then fight traffic just to get to the office makes me want to go back to bed and pretend that I am still on vacation. LOL I must say that after all the excitments during the holidays, I am not excited to go back to work. [alindahaw]
Part of me is ok with finally going back to work because I know that I still have a lot to do to close the year 2008. But I am sad because I will be missing the days when I can stay in bed as long as I feel like it and just relax at home with my family. [silverglint]
