It is a sad thing that everybody is being affected by economic recession. In my country as well this is the case, with companies closing , unemployment list are rising up. These days we cannot be sure of our jobs, I think people should start to think out of the box. Actually I am starting to be an entrepreneur, I study different options how to earn. Like buy and sell for example. I think government should focus on helping people who wants to put up a small business. [bluecrystal1982]
"I think people should start to think out of the box" thats really we need. but not all of people able to do that my dear friend sad but doing entrepreneur in my country also having great challange since everything getting higher and higher in cost [plumwish07]

It is depressing to think about the world economy these days. We heard about lots of foreclosures on properties and unemployment rising. Most companies dissolve and difficult to get permanent jobs as capitalists hire people on casual term so employees don't get benefits. For those who have a bit of savings venture into small businesses but only few flourish. My eldest daughter told me one time, she wishes she was still a kid and need not have to think about what grown-ups have to endure in their lifetime. [moolahmagnet]
lolthat i alsowishing for, hehehehe. when we were younger, we don't need to think anything as like nowadays. we just be happy and running around in here and there. but still no matter hard situation that we face at now,we should not easily to give up and keep upour possitive things to make this life better [plumwish07]

Yeah, every year students are graduated with varying degrees and specification of job. But the workplaces are not enough to approve them all. The offices even required another tests and other requirements that really difficult to choose its workers. I dont know also what happened with governments, they just have so many things to do. I wondered, are they really good leader? Are they also qualified to be leaders in our country? Hmmm... I wondered how could they can enjoy their life in wealth while other people cant afford to buy a bread. [manya_pearl]
as like you said, every year so many new ready worker but not too much working field for them. but in my opinion as like my experience not all of the new ready worker qualify in their graduation what i mean here, many students graduate not only with their brain but also use their money to get their tittle, please don't be offense with my opinion coz in my country this kind thing really happenedsad [plumwish07]

I think it's a common problem all over the world. It's so sad that due to economic crisis people are suffering.Poor becomes poorer and rich become richer, how unfortunate for those who have not enough to survive. [giePortlandOR_08]
You are right. We just need to stay strong.Take care! [giePortlandOR_08]

wow. it is getting pretty bad. [cheerchic45680]

The economy is really bad. The politicians are just interested in getting elected and not trying to help the folks who are having financial woes. The high cost of gasoline has affected everything. The cost of basic consumer products has tripled in the last year. I am fortunate that I have a full time job for now, but I am still having problems keeping up. I just keep telling myself, this a trial and things will get better later. [venshida]
thats good to hear that you have your full time job at this moment. as i want to suggest in here in order to keep up your job at now, just try the best that you able to do with your job. see what you able to give best for your work then see how you would get as the result [plumwish07]

With oil over $110 per barrel, airlines will really be in trouble with their fuel costs. They'll either lose money or pass the additional cost on to consumers. Either way it's a lose-lose situation. Oil is the main culprit. We need to shift to alternative energy. [wisedragon]
thats rightbut do you have any idea about the alternativeenergy which able to usefor airlines company? [plumwish07]

Hello dear plumwish. It is sad when there are more and more unemployments getting increasing because of some companies being closed. I think that the government is the major one to be responsible for its citizens to live a decent life with a fix revenue without worrying too much about their life sources. It it time for the government to take some actions for this. [williamjisir]
yeah, but it would be difficult if there are lots problem happened in one country. however, aslike you said, the governemnt should able to handlethis kind thing since they are government which elected by their people. but at this moment, its really seldom to seemy president speak in television to tell people about how the government try tosolve this matter. do you think there isno any concerning from government? [plumwish07]

that the 64 thousand Dollare question. guess we will never figure it out they want in for the money but not help the little feller out [Lakota12]

Things happen and its inevitable for big companies closing because they can no longer afford the operating costs, to add to that, government does not support them with what they need to operate better and with lesser expenses. Unemployment rate will always rise, I think and will always be a problem for many countries, most especially for countries like ours where children at a young age are working for garbages, tin cans, at rice fields instead of studying for their future. We are in such a bad shape and it will take a lot of effort for the government to clean up everything. [chiyosan]

It seems that even with a good education, even with experience, and even with skills, people are having some difficulties with unemployment all over the world. I reside in the States and unemployment is going up according the the last stats which do not include those who are still unemployed but are unable any longer to get unemployment benefits or who have pulled out of the job market all together, and those who are under employed. It also does not count those who are part-time employees whose jobs end and these are quite a few individuals, as they are not entitled to unemployment benefits, and the contractor employees who also are ineligible. My part-time position at a clinic is ending May 31st as the clinic is closing due to budgetary problems and I am having to look for a new job at at time when there is a weak market for employees. I am hoping that I will be very lucky and have a job to go to when this one ends. I am counting on it as I need to be able to afford my $1,160 a month one-bedroom apartment which in my area is rather cheap and to pay other expenses. I am single with no one to support me so I am hoping for the best and trusting that it will occur. [whiteheron]
oops... you asked why the government is not concerned seemingly about unemployment... It seems that the governments of most nations are focused on the needs of the few wealthy individuals and on business statistics rather than the needs of the poor or middle class who are suffering at the hands of the corporations and at the hand of those who care little for things like the environment, poverty, homelessness or other things that they should be concerned about. Here in the States, we have an Administration that would rather wage war than maintain the roads, create jobs, reduce poverty and hunger, prevent homelessness, etc. He would also rather bail out big business corporations than take care of the needs of the people. It is a sad thing indeed when the world's wealthy people become fewer in number and hog the majority of the resources, experience no lack, and at the same time give so little to ease the suffering of the poor. I do not know why this is the case, I think it is a sickness of the soul of those with wealth and power. I would like to see this sickness healed in my generation because there are enough resources always to to feed and cloth and sheltor all of the world's people and to sustain such an activity adinfinitum if there is the will to do it. We have not had the will. That is a pity. [whiteheron]

I think the problem you mentioned is faced by all most all countries.Even in developed country like US the situation is not sound.I am from India and we are also facing the same problem. After completing the college education it is very difficult to get a job.I think our situation is far better. If you take African countries, people are suffering to for one time food. [sreejithsreenivas]
i know this kind thing too dear since inflation happened in every country including US, UK, AUS and many big country. this really affected my country while the numbers of unemployement still increasing year per year and now added with this condition. many thanks of your response [plumwish07]

Well, they just added 3 more here in the US this last week, and saying American airlines is now freezing people being able to even apply there, get promotions, etc, so hopefully, they are not next. We know someone who has already taken a lot of losses there as it is. When we have people in Government never facing up to and admitting the challenges there are today with the High Gas prices, rising of Costs and unemployment, housing, etc. you begin to wonder what will it take, and can a change really come from all of this? Here in the US I think there is no concern right now for anyone here, and I just hope next yr. when a new president comes in they will want change, and not just accept things in life as status quo never trying to better anything.
