I came upon this news story about a teacher who sidelines as a porn star in the internet... i was quite shocked and i didn't know how to react when i finished reading it...
It seeems that Ms Ciriani is a teacher by profession but also a porn star by hobby... now... what is wrong with this picture? I don't know if it is funny, weird, or an insult to the teaching profession...

I think it's pretty sad actually. What she was doing in her off time was perfectly legal to do. And by law only adults were legal to view her work. But because minors were allowed access to these adult sites, she is now being punished for other people's illegal acts. It's a tough spot for her to be in, given the nature that so many people find it sickening and disgusting to view or hear about the natural act of sex. I personally have no problem with what people do legally for work and I don't see it as a problem that her other job was teaching. I read the article provided on your link, but I couldn't find any kind of picture? Although I am of the view that adults, including teachers, should be able to do whatever they like in private, the fact is that being a porn star, & having yourself posted on the internet, is putting yourself at risk of students not respecting you, defamation & threats. Everything is wrong with that story. It is an insult to the students, to the teaching profession and if she "teaches" in a public school a fraud upon the taxpayers where she lives. Her argument that her other job does not interfere with her teaching just proves how clueless she is and that she should not be teaching anything unless they have classes in how to be a p*rn star, lol. Ok, I have to say that what she does in her private life, to make money, should have no impact on her day job, as long as she is able to keep them seperate. While I may not agree iwth it from a personal level on what she is doing, I don't think she should be punished if she kept it from her teaching and didn't flaunt what she did with her students. Well I definitely think she shoud be expelled from her profession ,since what she is doing is unethical.....Teaching is a nobel profession where you impart knowledge and discipline to the students, besides love and counselling especially in the younger classes.... There will be atleast a few students who dot on the teacher and who may look upon her as a role model.And she sure is seting a poor example for her wards.....There is nothing to stop at least a few of her students in trying to ape such a way-ward activity,and if they insist that if their teacher can do it why cannot they also follow it.....they will leave their parents in a sad dialemma.... I believe that once a teacher is always a teacher,even when she steps out of her school/college..And I do not think the teacher has a right to take shelter behind her weak arguments that she is doing what normal women are doing....How many "normal women" will double up as a porn star and opt for transgression and what ever........LOL.... Hello aseretdd, *laughs* I don't know what to say! After reading the articles, I am not too sure why she is doing that. I find it a bit 'disgusting' for a teacher to act like that. If it is to earn extra, you could do so many jobs instead of being a porno-star. As for a hobby.... that is too much for a teacher *laughs* [gr8life]

I know lots of people might not like this post. Even though a teacher has a right to choose her hobby, kids tend to emulate their teachers (who are supposed to set a responsible example)- within and outside the school too. We (my husband and I) are in the teaching profession and we feel that we shouldn't even be caught smoking outside...we don't think it's right for the kids who consider us as role models to be doing something we do not expect them to follow. Yeah, it is quite a shocked to hear that kind of story. I just didn't realize that these kind of news is still new to you. I have heard many stories about how they are professor during daytime and a porn star during night time. but in this case, it is the internet. For me, it is wrong that teachers should be a porn star. Teachers should be the role model on their students. They should be the one to diret their student towards the common good. they should be the one to teach their students what is right and wrong, and good or bad. They should be fired from their schools because they just bring shame to the institution and also to the students. [riveream]
I have never encountered a story of a teacher being a porn star by night... if that is the case... then it is quite easy to hide that type of side job... but doing it in the internet is another story... kids can easily access the net... and i wouldn't want my child to accidentally see her teacher naked or doing odd things in the internet... I couldn't agree more. But like I said, there is this huge, negative disgust with sex in this country and therefore most will condemn her actions despite the problem being others breaking the law. I would be abhorred if a student found, on the net, a site that featured a teacher of theirs supporting anarchy, the Nazi party or the like. Talk about role models! Hi Aseretdd, I think this is a classic case of "society says so". I mean if she is doing a good job at teaching, shes professional and not letting it effect her teaching skills in any way, her sexual preference is her own business. That doesnt make her unable to teach people and be an intelligent woman. If she is that popular she obviously isnt doing the teaching job for the money! Its something that she enjoys doing as well as sex. Most of us dont parade our sexual preferences around like this, but its her business if she wants too. Its after hours on her own time.
